The wine district of Jeruzalem Ormož cellar includes some of the best vineyard locations in the world and, to the great satisfaction of the lovers of fine wines, the philosophy of the wine cellar is that the best things must be shared with others.   The cellar combines the rich traditions of viticulture and enology, at the same time it follows the most recent global wine trends.   The wine cellar was built in 1967 according to the plans of Professor Miran Veselić from Ormož; its round shape is in perfect harmony with the shape of the land.   It includes five underground floors, reaching 25 metres into the ground.

In the third floor there are mighty oak barrels, used for ripening wines, which are exclusively made of the grapes coming from their own vineyards and from the best wine-growers from Jeruzalemske gorice, filled in the prestigious line Mitja's.

In recent years, the cellar has been thoroughly renovated and everything is supported by the most recent technology, which enables the production of fine wines of regular and special vintages:   Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Traminer, Pinot and Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Muscatel and domestic Šipon, which is the pride of the vineyard location.   In the archive cellar the legendary Sauvignon Blanc from 1956 is preserved, one of the best wines of all times.   The wines produced under the trade mark P&F Jeruzalem Ormož are fruity, fresh, typical of the variety, full and harmonious. Sparkling wines Jeruzalem Ormož Brut, Sec, Muškatna penina, Sauvignon and Rose are also produced.

In the pleasant environment of the tasting room – in the new hall where the furnishings go hand in hand with the tradition of the region – you can taste all the wines of the Jeruzalem Ormož and Ljutomerčan trade marks.   The main room, which can accommodate up to 80 people, is intended for large groups, while the smaller rooms are appropriate for smaller groups of people, workshops or meetings with business partners, and in one part of the hall there is a wine shop.   Visits of the cellar and tastings for groups are organised, while special tastings can be arranged for dedicated wine-lovers.

The Malek Vineyard Cottage was named after a German derivative denoting a castle standing at the edge of a hill and also a place where judgements were passed. An old vineyard cottage is usually imagined as a smaller building standing next to a vineyard used for pressing grapes, maturation of wine and storage of tools, and the living room for the occasional sleeping over of the wine grower's family. The Malek vineyard cottage varies from the typical vineyard cottage by its size and sophisticated exterior, because it used to be owned by rich vineyard owners. Among them there were noblemen and wine traders who used the cottage in the 18th century for storing wine produced in the nearby vineyards. A special feature of the vineyard cottage is a house chapel, decorated by a fresco of the Assumption from the first half of the 18th century. Today the cottage is intended for the lovers of fine wine and tourists. While tasting different excellent wines, visitors can observe a mighty old wooden press, in a smaller room items and tools connected to wine growing, enology and to the former cottage owners are exhibited. Besides the exhibition of the mentioned attractions, tasting and sale of wines produced by the P&F Jeruzalem Ormož, d.o.o, is also available.
